The Portage Public Library provides wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) to library users for free. To get connected look for 'Library-Wireless’ in the list of available Wi-Fi networks on your device.
The network is compatible with 802.11n/g/b devices and operates in the 2.4GHz spectrum. The network is open, uses WEP authentication and requires no password to connect.
If you are using a laptop and are having trouble connecting check that your wireless networking drivers are up-to-date and correctly installed. Library staff are not permitted to change settings or alter your device.
